Find Official Cajun Field Tickets
Louisiana Athletics directs ticket buyers to its official tickets page or the Louisiana Athletics Ticket Office at 337-482-4685. The stadium overview gives no fixed ticket price, so check the event listing for the details that apply to your date.
Cajun Field opened in 1971, and its first game was September 25, 1971, when Louisiana defeated Santa Clara 21–0. The stadium’s capacity is 41,426. If you are visiting the campus too, the University of Louisiana at Lafayette visitor guide can help you plan that part of the trip.
Review Entry Policies Before Arrival
Cajun Field has a clear-bag policy, but published guidance differs on permitted bag types and details. The CAJUNDOME’s general guidance allows one approved clear bag per ticket holder, including children, with examples such as a one-gallon clear storage bag or a clear purse no larger than 12 × 12 × 6 inches.
Ticketmaster’s Cajun Field guidance gives the same maximum dimensions for clear plastic bags and also permits small clutches or purses no larger than 6.5 × 4.5 inches, medical-equipment bags, and diaper bags for age-appropriate children accompanied by an adult.
It prohibits large purses, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs, mesh bags, and tinted or printed-pattern plastic bags. Event management may change its bag policy, so check the official site before you go.
What to Check on Event Day
Confirm your event’s ticket instructions and entry rules before you leave, especially if you plan to bring a bag. Ticketmaster says will-call tickets can be picked up at Gate A beginning two hours before the event.
For parking arrangements, review what to check about Cajun Field parking before game day. Keep the stadium address handy: 2351 W. Congress, Lafayette, Louisiana.
